Extraordinary day

I worked the temple today. It was a very neat, wonderful day full of lots of sweet tender moments Ill never forget. There was also lots of crazy/weird things that happened too. I wanted to jot them all down so I don't forget.

*Got reprimanded by a temple worker , and he wasn't very kind about it at all
*Worked in the baptistery for the first half of the day, neat experiences there for sure.
1. Saw a 65 year old lady there do the work for her parents. It was so neat to whiteness that
2. A 40 something year old recent convert came to do baptisms for the first time today. He was with his wife. While in there the baptistery coordinator asked me to go with him in the chapel (down in the baptistery) so I went and he was giving him a little spiritual talk and about what to expect. As he was about to leave I asked if I could say something. He said yes of course. I told the man that out of all the places I get to work in the temple this is my favorite. The spirit is indescribable by that font. And also that baptisms is where it all begins for the people who have been waiting YEARS for this. Its a wonderful experience. Of course I cried though the whole thing. I was so glad I said something though, the brother came up to me and said yes, that was a neat experience.
*Went back to the baptistery a few hours later. These two things happened
1.I had to let some patrons in, I set off the alarm!!!!! Security was not happy with me.(it goes off in his ear not the whole temple luckily)
I saw him coming into the baptistery, I said I was so sorry. He laughed and just said to make sure it doesn't happen again. WOOPS
2. A 17 year old girl in the baptistery said :man you really are pretty, I mean like really beautiful. Is that the best compliment or what!!! I cried for sure on that one
*Went to do a session after my shift, the first counselor in the Temple Presidency and his wife were in the session. I though how neat. Its not often that happens. Then one of my most favorite couple was the officiating couple. It could't get any better. 15 min the power goes out and never comes back on and we were all sent home...ARE YOU KIDDING ME! 2 sessions were going on. It was crazy in the halls, stairs, dressing rooms, CRAZY! I was so sad. That was not how I wanted to end my day but its ok. Ill go another time.

Then on the way home saw a man crash on his bike, go rolling into the street and bike go into a million pieces. Like I said, WONDERFUL, weird, crazy day!
