17 miracles

Tonight Jer and I went to see the movie 17 Miracles. It was a fantastic movie! It was about the Willie Handcart Co. Jer was so into it. He kept asking a ton of questions. He even said, "mom, I feel really bad for those people" Of course I cried through the whole thing. On the car ride home he said, "mom, while we were watching the movie I felt a tingle inside of me" I said that is the spirit confirming to you that what you were watching was true. When we got home he told dad the whole movie verbatim. It was really cute! I was hoping for a neat experience taking Jer to see it and Heavenly Father delivered for sure. Ill never for get it!

Things I remember:

*An angel guiding the lady to the cave full of meat

*The daughter staying behind with her mom and having no food and praying and a pan of food appeared

*Family having only 2 hard biscuits to eat, family praying and the pan was full of one large biscuit.

*Saints in the barn protected from haters trying to kill them

*Children praying and safe from tons of rattle snakes

*Daughters life spared after they thought she was already dead

*Woman's drunk husband on bus didn't even recognize her and his own children

Not to mention all the selfless sacrifices, like giving your food to the women you love and you starve to death, carrying hundreds of saints over freezing cold water, pushing others wagons, the angels that came back to help the others finish their journey. It was an amazing movie Ill never forget.
