Spiritual boy

I am in such aww and love and admiration of this boy right here. He has been an absolute sweetheart of a child. He just keeps amazing me. It started a few weeks ago. He has been asking  a lot about heaven and where we go and if it really exists. So we've been talking a lot about it. So while talking about heaven, talk of the 3 kingdoms keeps coming up. Well one day out of the blue he said to me "mom, when I start acting up and being angry I want you to tell me thats not having a celestial attitude"  I about died. What 13 year old says that. He is so afraid that because of his behavior he isn't going to go to the same kingdom as mom and dad and he's going to be left out. That broke my heart. Then a few weeks go by and he is still talking about heaven. Dad and I tell him he needs to study the scriptures and get a testimony of his own. So every night he has been reminding/making us read scriptures. And I mean he is the total instigator. He wants to read and learn and he asks questions. Its been the sweetest thing and such a blessing for our family. He has been trying to hard to do what is right. 

And then one day last week we were in my room. Laughing, goofing off just having fun and he out of no where wraps his arms around me and gives me the biggest hug and said "Mom, your my best friend, I love you" Oh my gosh I about died. He is the sweetest!  He truly makes me so happy. I am so so grateful he is my son.
