My Sister In Law Melanie started a new tradition a few years ago to have a Thanksgiving at her house the night before. She puts so much work into it!! The place settings, the food, its all so beautiful. Her house is huge and beautiful too so that helps. She wouldn't let me bring much so I made cupcakes for the kids. I did make the candied yams too. Although I didn't eat any so not sure how they were. After we ate we all sat around eating and laughing...Oh wait I did dishes while everyone laughed and talked. :) I really do love cleaning up plus I love Melanie, there is no way I could let her do it after she cooked and set everything up. I know that takes hours. I like the tradition to because I don't feel so rushed that night when Im with Mikes family and I don't feel rushed Thanksgiving day with my family. Thank you Mel for doing it!!
