Memorial Day weekend in AZ

I really wanted to leave town for Memorial weekend and Mike really did not. So I decided to take Jer and Aden and go to AZ. It would be pretty inexpensive and really fun so I really wanted to go. Cristall was gracious enough to let us stay there. We had so much fun!  They boys swam...a lot. Friday night when we got there Cristall grilled some salmon and corn. It was delish!  We just hung out with everyone that night and did some night swimming. Then Saturday first thing we went to watch Jason's passing league games. It was really fun to see him doing that. Hes such a stud! They made it all the way to the championship game but then lost. Still, that was pretty dang good. We only stayed for a few hours then we went with Max and Kinz to their club house pool. That was super fun. Rex was a riot with the picture taking. He was mad I was taking pictures of him and then when I said "but Rexie, I have to remind myself of how cute you are when I go back to Las Vegas" he looked at me for a minute and then smiled and said cheese!  It was so cute!  Max played water basketball with all the kids. That was sweet to watch!  Then Sunday Aunt Cristall made her famous waffles. Jer pretty much inhaled them. We went to church, it was Cristall's nephew's farewell. I've always called them my cousins too so it was really fun that I could be there. We made yummy meatball sliders for dinner and Bryan and Whitney came in Sunday night, YEA!!   Monday was the ultimate BBQ!  Mark stayed up all night smoking ribs and pork butt. It was melt in your mouth meat. So so yummy. The kids swam all day!  Lindsey and her kids came over to swim as well. It was really fun to see her. Kinz and Max came, Whit and Bryan...it was so wonderful to have everyone there...Except Mike and Sara, they are in Tennessee. And I would have loved if my honey could have been there but it was still a really really fun weekend!! We were showered and on the road by 3:30. Sad to leave.
