Jer had a really rough week at school this past week. It doesn't seem to be getting any better. So Mike and I decided that something needed to change...but what. So we came to the conclusion that we needed to take his behavior at school day by day. Literally. What happened yesterday no longer matters, tomorrow is a fresh start. So we have a deal. If he is good at school on Monday, after homework, we will something fun. Skatepark, movie, have a friend over, go out to dinner, play games at the house etc. Tuesday, same thing, Wednesday we have an hour from when piano ends til scouts. Well do something fast. Thursday and Friday if he is good then we get to have "Fun Friday" We made a bucket and wrote fun stuff on pieces of paper and every friday he can pick something out of the bucket and we will go do that "fun thing" every friday. He wrote down things like, hiking at Redrock, skymania, nice steak dinner, scary movie date with Katelynn, indoor swimming, roller coaster, etc. Well I think this may be working. We finished our first week of it and so far so good. He was an angel everyday this week.
TUESDAY: we went to the park. Had a great time
WEDNESDAY: we went to dinner and ice cream then came home and played trouble
THURSDAY: hung with dad
FRIDAY: he picked Skymania. Katelynn got to come. We went to eat at Grimaldis at Fashion show then went to skymania. We had a BLAST.
