Newport was kinda fun. Just for me anyway. Mikes whole family went on the trip. We were all so excited to go. Well I got sick the day we left and was so sick the whole time we were there. So everyone else that went had a great time it was just me that was so miserable. We arrived Saturday night. When I saw our Villa I about died. It was gorgeous. At least if Im gonna be sick in bed I can have a beautiful place to stay in. We went to say hi to everyone and I went to bed. I slept til 10:30 the next morning. I really wanted to go to church but that didn't happen. Then Monday we went to Disneyland. It was rainy, cold and windy but I think everyone still had a good time, except me. I didn't feel well at all. We hired a concierge to take us all around and get to the front of the line. That part was great. We were at California Adventure for just a few hours and we went home. I was so cold and sick. I slept most of the day Tuesday. Wednesday night we did go to Balboa Island and see the Boat parade. That was fun. We took the car ferry over. That was cool. We had never done that. Mike and his dad went to this Restaurant to see if they had any spots open. They had 1 table left. So we had a yummy meal and watched the show front and center in warmth. It was so awesome. Jer did the jumpy thing and Ferris wheel. He loved it. The rest of the time was lounging around. The place we stayed at was great for kids. They had a heated pool (which was all Jer wanted to do) they had an arcade and fun activities. He loved it.
