Thanksgiving weekend in AZ

Jer, my mom and I went to AZ for the long weekend. Man did we ever have a blast!  I hate to say that because Traci couldn't go, I dont want her to feel bad, but we really had a fun time. As soon as we were done eating we headed out. We arrived about 10:30 pm. Which wasn't bad considering we lost an hour.

Friday was just hanging around the house... Getting the BBQ on. First thing that morning I had a stupid  idea that I would go workout with David and Daniele. Holy crap. Instead of driving to the High School they wanted to run. Im not a runner. Inside I was crying already. Well I put my big girl panties on and did the best I could. They were way ahead of me but I kept on going. Then when we got there David gives me a workout of a lifetime on the bleachers. At one point I was dry heaving over the railing. Then I had to run home. HOLY CRAP. I really felt so good after though. So I walked in the door and wanted to die, I took a shower instead. After we all cleaned up we lounged around watching the boys get their BBQ on. Mark and David were so funny about all their meat and David making the beans. He was cracking me up. Danielle and I went to Lulu for a quick little pick me up. They actually had a ton on sale so we each got a super cute outfit. We came home and just hung out. Cristal got a bouncy house and the kids loved that of course. Jeremy, Jason and Tirstin swimming in the freezing cold!! Well Jason actually thew them in. I was sad I missed it! Max and Kinz came with their babies so it was very entertaining to watch little Rex. He was so cute!! David and Jason wrestled, I loved on all the kids, that little Trinley...she is the cutest little thing. Then toward the end of the night Mark wanted Max to do some skits with the kids. So he took Jer, Tristin and Trinley upstairs to do some skits. Oh man was it the funniest thing EVER!!  The kids had the best time. It really was the best day. I was the 5th wheel and went with David, Danielle, Max and Kinz to go see Twilight. It was so stupid. Seriously dumb. We all got a good laugh out of it though. It was a super fun, crazy, busy, awesome day!

Saturday we got up and we went wedding dress shopping with Sara. She found the most gorgeous dress. It was the 3rd one she tried on. She started to cry when she put in on. It was so sweet!  We went to lunch and came home. Lishy and I wanted to go to Lulu so we went to a different one and got her a super cute little yoga outfit. I really enjoyed getting to go with her. I feel like we don't get enough time together. Then we went straight to play frisbee golf. That was very entertaining. Sara was the only girl that played. Lesha, Danielle, Cristal and I just walked around watching them. It was so funny. David who doesn't play was making some funny throws but over all he did good for a beginner. :)  We went to eat at a yummy burger place and then went to go see the lights at the temple. Its such a beautiful sight to see. We went to Kinzie's parents to hang out for a minute and came to crash...we have a baby blessing in the morning!

Sunday was the blessing. Max did a wonderful job! He cried through the whole thing. He even said after, "And I was so worried about Hayden crying through the whole blessing, instead I did"  so cute. Hes such a good little dad. Im really so proud of David and Max. To watch them this weekend was such a treat. Im so happy they have such wonderful wives and such sweet little kids. They were so loving and kind to their little family. It just makes me tear up. Anyway, we went back to Max and Kinzie's for a yummy dinner and we were on our way. David and Danielle had a 12 hour drive back home. They weren't going to stay for the food but they ended up staying quite a while. I know it was a huge sacrifice on their end but I was so happy. I wasn't ready for them to leave. I had the best weekend!!  I really am so thankful for my family. They truly are the best!!
