Legoland...surprise for Bouger

Hands down one of the best vacations ever. I have always wanted to surprise Jer and take him somewhere when he had no idea. So Mike and I got this great plan together. We left Friday July 1st. I worked for just a few hours in the morning and came home to "nap" Jer played games and Mike secretly loaded the truck while he was playing. I had everything packed and hid under the bed the night before so I just quietly handed Mike stuff through the laundry room. It couldn't have been more perfect. So we said Jer, lets to get lunch. As were were driving Mike says, "what ya want to do this weekend?" Jer says I don't know, go carts or something. Mike says why don't we go here and hands him the tickets. He looks confused. "Legoland?" yup, you wanna go? When? Mike says "lets go right now". Jer looks at dad with a du look and says "we dont have any of our bags" Mike rolls down the back window in the truck and says "look back there" Jer looks in the back and back at dad with a grin so big and I start screaming were going to legoland. I think I was more excited than Jer. I couldnt stand it. It was all so priceless.

Friday: First day, nice dinner and hotel swimming

Saturday: Legoland

Legoland was great because Mike decided to pay for a wrist band for all of us to get to the front of every line. We didn't wait once. It was fantastic. Jer never got board or wined at all. He loved every minute of it. Adults...not so much but it was great to see him so happy

Sunday: water park at Legoland

Jer loved that!!! He found a few friends and we didn't see him all day. He got fried because I couldn't find him to put more sunblock on. It was relaxing and fun for sure!

Monday: 4th of July

I took Jer down to the beach. I bought him a boogie board on the way and he played on that thing for hours! He loved it so much. I love to just sit out there and listen to the waves, read a book. Its wonderful. We left dad at the hotel to have some alone time.

Then we went to the See Life Aquarium. That was Ok. Jer had fun though. Then we went to a nice dinner and went night swimming. Jer didn't want to see the fire works, he wanted to stay and "relax in the room". So we did.

Tuesday: drove home :(

It was such a wonderful trip.

*PS Yes Ill wear a bikini on the beach where I will never see anyone I know and cuz I don't get up very much so no one sees me. :) But I did want a pic so I can remember when Im 60 how good I once looked. LOL
