Kim has baby Quinn

Kim finally had her baby. She was a week overdue. I was lucky enough to be invited to witness the birth. She had not made up her mind 100% if she was going to go natural or have an epidural. Finally got to a point where it was now or never with the epidural...she went natural. It was an experience I'll never forget. The next time one of you asks me to be in 'the room' and you go natural...NO. Sitting and watching my best friend in that much pain was heart wrenching. At one point I remember her looking up at her husband and pleading with him to take away the pain and make it stop. The look on her face made me cry. Then he was just about to come out and she needed a little help so the doctor 'cut' her. As he did that, she screamed, "OUCH...THAT BURNS!" To see your best friend go through that is something I do not ever want to repeat. However, it really was a great experience and I'm so glad I was in the room. The baby came out beautiful and healthy. BUT then the next day, the baby got sick and needed to spend 5 days in the NICU. But all is well and they are home. And he is the pretties baby Ive ever seen. LOVE you Kim and you are a ROCK STAR!
